The deadline for the Children’s Photography Competition 2012 being hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Sports & Culture, was February 14th 2013.
The Competition began on November 7th 2012 for students in primary and secondary schools here, using the theme: “My Hairouna”.
Interested students in the Junior Category between the ages 8-12 years and Seniors between the ages 13-17 participated in the competition.
It
was being carried out using the Children’s Photography Competition 2012 Facebook page. The picture that received the most likes, between the November 7th to February 14th time span will win.
Each contestant was allowed submit only one photo.
Obscene, provocative and other questionable contents were not considered and photos were appropriate for posting on public websites.
The young winners will receive digital cameras for their efforts.
