The National Ozone Unit (NOU) will visit six schools across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines between 10th - 23rd September, to educate students about the critical role of the ozone layer in protecting human health, the science behind ozone depletion and recovery, and practical measures families can take to safeguard against harmful ultraviolet radiation. The school visits form part of initiatives to recognise World Ozone Day 2025.
The Ashley Lashley Foundation, with support from the United States Government, has completed a two-day climate resilience workshop in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, part of its regional initiative “Community-Driven Strategies for Stability and Resilience.”
The Government and People of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines join the wider Caribbean and the African continent in commemorating Africa-CARICOM Day, observed annually on Sunday, 7th September, 2025.
