Saint Vincent and the Grenadines continues to see an increase in tourist arrivals for the 2017-2018 tourist season, with two ships making calls simultaneously at port Kingstown on Thursday, 11th January 2018.

The two ships on call were the Azura and the Insignia. The Azura, which originates in the United Kingdom, arrived with a total of 2947 passengers and a crew of 1172 personnel. The Azura is expected to make nine calls to Saint Vincent's shores for this cruise ship season.

The Insignia, which originates out of the United States of America (U.S.A), arrived with a total of 640 passengers and a crew of 403 personnel.This season, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is expected to receive over 300 cruise ship calls. This represents a significant increase from last year's total, which was 256 calls.
