The National Commission for UNESCO, in collaboration with the Department of Culture within the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, hosted the official launch of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Initiative at a ceremony that brought together government officials, cultural stakeholders, and members of the public, at the conference room in the Kingstown Public Library. 

The National Commission for UNESCO, in collaboration with the Department of Culture within the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, is proud to announce the launch of a national initiative to strengthen local capacities in safeguarding Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).

The Department of Tourism in the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture will, on Saturday, 27th September 2025, join the rest of the world in celebrating World Tourism Day 2025.
