The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, through the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture, hosted a Coastal and Marine Capacity Assessment Workshop on Wednesday, 15th October, 2025, at the Calliaqua Town Hall. Held under the theme “Enhancing Agencies’ Capacity in Building Coastal and Marine Management Systems that are Resilient and Sustainable,” the workshop aimed to raise awareness of integrated coastal and marine management and strengthen institutional capacity for effective resource governance.
The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Management Strengthening Project (SVGCMEMS) on Wednesday, 1st October, 2025, handed over supplies valued at EC$3,218 to the Fisheries Division within the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour.
The National Commission for UNESCO, in collaboration with the Department of Culture within the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, hosted the official launch of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Initiative at a ceremony that brought together government officials, cultural stakeholders, and members of the public, at the conference room in the Kingstown Public Library.
