Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture Carlos James, in collaboration with the SVG Tourism Authority, has made significant progress in connecting the major source markets to the destination by introducing new routes and flights.
“I'm thrilled to announce that beginning Saturday, 7th December, American Airlines will commence TWO new routes to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: once a week from Charlotte, North Carolina, and JFK, New York. The new flights to Paradise Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will enhance air access and boost our tourism sector. Tourism is undeniably a significant contributor to our GDP. As the Minister of Tourism, I am honored to lead the transformation of the tourism sector in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,” said Minister James.
In welcoming the additional flights, he underscores that ALL our tourism stakeholders are the foundation that helps create the product we call Destination Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
James credits the industry's progress to its stakeholders and vows to further improve accessibility, accommodations, and attractions.
