The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority established in 2009 by Act # 39/2007 has the responsibility of promoting the country as a tourist destination, developing standards and regulating the quality of the local tourism service providers. The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority seeks to ensure efficiency and strengthening of the institutional and regulatory framework for tourism development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with the aim of promoting the sustainable development of the tourism sector to provide the stimulus for economic diversification and sustained growth in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
