On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Sustainable Development welcomed the MS Bolette to our shores with an official plaque exchange ceremony.

With a passenger capacity of 1,656, the MS Bolette made its official inaugural call to Bequia on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The milestone was further celebrated during the vessel's call to Port Kingstown, where the traditional plaque exchange ceremony was conducted. This meaningful maritime custom symbolizes goodwill, partnership, and the strengthening of ties between the destination and the cruise line.

The ceremony was led by Chief Operating Officer (Ag.) of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority, Mr. Shawn Sutherland. In attendance were representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Sustainable Development, the Modern Port Operating Company, and local agent, Coreas & Co. Ltd.

The Ministry extended a warm Vincentian welcome to the captain, crew, and passengers of MS Bolette, and looks forward to many more memorable visits to our shores. As cruise tourism continues to grow, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines remains committed to delivering authentic experiences, exceptional service, and the warm hospitality that define our islands.
