The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Sustainable Development has officially launched the “Love SVG” Project Submission Form as part of the national “Love SVG” campaign unveiled on Thursday, 14th May, 2026.
The initiative invites Ministries, statutory bodies, private-sector organisations, schools, NGOs, youth groups, community organisations, and Vincentians to share projects aimed at improving communities and public spaces across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines ahead of the 2026 tourist season.
The “Love SVG” campaign is designed to inspire a whole-of-country movement focused on national pride, environmental sustainability, tourism enhancement, and community empowerment. Through this initiative, organisations and groups are encouraged to undertake projects that contribute to cleaner, greener, safer, and more attractive spaces throughout the country.
Projects may range from micro initiatives, such as the installation of recycling bins, clean-up campaigns, and signage, to larger-scale beautification, infrastructure, and community tourism projects.
Submissions are encouraged in the following areas:
- Natural attractions and eco-sites
- Heritage and cultural sites
- Transport and access infrastructure
- Hospitality service upgrades
- Community or community tourism initiatives
- The Ministry is encouraging all participating Ministries and agencies to contribute at least five (5) impactful projects during the May to October off-season period, with the aim of preparing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for increased visitor arrivals associated with Vincy Mas, CPL, and the 2026 cruise tourism season.
Speaking at the launch of the campaign, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Sustainable Development, Dr. Tamira Browne, emphasised that the initiative is not simply about project proposals, but about visible national transformation and collective responsibility:
“Love SVG is more than a campaign. It is a movement that calls on every Vincentian to take ownership of our country, our communities, and our future. The way we care for our country defines how the world experiences it.”
The Ministry will issue a follow-up call in September 2026 to assess completed projects and capture the impact and number of beneficiaries resulting from the initiative.
The public is encouraged to submit projects using the official submission form available here:
