Minister of Tourism Hon. Carlos James is attending the Caribbean Tourism Organisation's Sustainable Tourism Conference (STC) being held at the Raddison Conference Centre in Grenada.
The conference is the Caribbean region’s premier event for high-level networking and regional dialogue on sustainable tourism development and provides a platform for tourism policy makers, private sector stakeholders, thought leaders and strategic partners, to discuss the issues, challenges and opportunities confronting the future of Caribbean tourism.
Scheduled to take from April 22- 24, the conference place is held under the theme, “The 5 Ps for a Legacy of Caribbean Tourism Sustainability: People, Planet, Prosperity, Purpose & Partnership.”
Also, attending the conference is Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Resa Noel-McBarnet and Acting CEO of the Tourism Authority, Avanell DaSilva
Minister James and his delegation will return to the State on Thursday, April 25th.
