The official currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$). The US dollar is also widely accepted throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the exchange rate is fixed at US$1 = EC$2.68. Exchange rates with other international currencies are variable.

Many hotels, restaurants and businesses accept credit cards. Some smaller restaurants and businesses operate on a cash-only basis, it is recommended to take cash with you on outings.

There are many commercial banks in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and most have ATMs that will accept credit/debit cards. Note that funds are dispensed in Eastern Caribbean dollars.
